Google Play has passed the version review that supports call log access. Now only when you need to use the SMS function you need to download the APK.
Since the Google modification policy includes the permission to read SMS and call history, the application must be the default phone and SMS application selected by the user, otherwise it cannot be uploaded to Google Play.

We tried to solve this problem many times but failed to pass Google’s review. We can only delete the SMS and call history related functions of the Google Play version.

I have a paid version of DW Contacts & Phone (without the SMS function). Also lost call history. I have no issues making the DW C&P the default phone application, but my Samsung Galaxy S10e with Android 10 doesn’t seem to recognize DW C&P as a phone app, it only provides Phone and Skype as options. I installed the APK from your site, but it is another app (including SMS), so I end up with the limitations of an unregistered version. What now? Best regards, Rob

After installing the APK version and making it the default phone app I cannot take calls anymore: it rings bit no window pops up with option to accept or decline the call. Similar when making calls: I can call but no in call control or ending of call possible because no screen is opening up.

When can we expect the solution to display the call records. If this isn’t implemented soon then I will be forced to stop using this app and switch to other app.
This app is great and have been using for a while so keen to see a fix soon
